An elegant antique mahogany writing desk bureau from the George III period (1760-1820) with a fall-front that opens to reveal a fitted interior with drawers, pigeonholes, a central door and a writing surface.
There are four long graduating drawers with brass pull handles, lined with removable baize wool material in the colour ‘wine’ raised on original bracket feet. Key can be used to open door but does not lock.
